A new video from Google employee Matt Cutts recently surfaced that helps explain how does Google search engine work. The video goes back to year 2000 and explains how Google used to do things. Since then it has quickly adapted and been re-engineered to supply the demand of instant and the most up-to-date search results. Page Rank is the primary determinant of the Google search process but in short, Google will crawl the web and index pages based on word order.
